It was a rough quarter for ad pages in magazines, with an average decline of 8.2 percent. But Newsweek managed a 27 percent increase. That was from a very low ebb, of course, but it's still against the trend. Time and The Week, in contrast, saw declines of 21 and 31.5 percent respectively.
