Male aggression can be a good thing, as in protecting the weak — but it has been forced out of the culture of elementary schools and the education schools that train their personnel. Think of what Sandy Hook might have been like if a couple of male teachers who had played high-school football, or even some of the huskier 12-year-old boys, had converged on Lanza," – Charlotte Allen, NRO.

Actually, the largest tax increase in American history was written into the tax cuts themselves, if they failed to produce enough revenue to finance the government. Which they didn't. The reason we may go over the cliff is entirely because the GOP is more ideological than it is responsible.

Hillary has given us a great new excuse. Don’t call in with a cold or a bad tooth. Just say you have a concussion. It can last for days.

Rick Warren's conclusion: "Not everything natural is good for me."  So … homosexuality is natural? Isn't the Christianist argument that homosexuality is not natural?? So I guess Warren is making progress …

“Nate Silver is a man of very small stature, a thin and effeminate man with a soft-sounding voice that sounds almost exactly like the “Mr. New Castrati” voice used by Rush Limbaugh on his program. In fact, Silver could easily be the poster child for the New Castrati in both image and sound,” – Dean Chambers, in an aside about Nate Silver.

Chamber believes that Dick Morris has far more credibility in his polling than Silver does in his. But then Morris is a heterosexual.
