More pro-Bush, more pro-gay marriage, more pro privatizing social security – according to Gallup. Party affiliation? 45 percent Independent; 30 percent Republican; 24 percent Democrat. Talking about my generation. (Actually, I’m an old fart by now, but my general ideology, on these polling numbers, seems to be younger.)
