A useful debunking of some myths and a helpful exploration of other dangers. Bottom line: as Jon Rauch has put it, Iraq is now a mess, not a disaster. Or rather, it is a mess with a potential to become a disaster. How we turn things around should be the central issue in this campaign. Too bad it isn’t.
