But I must say that this type of criticism has been around since before the war was even launched, and reached a fever pitch months before the election. So my question to you, and in particular your more conservative counterparts, is: where was this indignation when it mattered? I’m not saying that Kerry would have had all of the answers, and I know that you did you part in voicing many of these same concerns, but for the Sec. of Defense to be such a monumental failure and not get called out for it by his boss is unimaginable.
