HRC and Their Friends

This is what a leading gay paper in LA has to say about the group:

"HRC is like the George Bush White House — it’s so insular. There’s no internal dissent," a prominent gay Democrat told IN Los Angeles magazine. "HRC is like George Bush’s White House," another influential gay politico told IN separately. "You have to be in lock-step like a cult or else there’s anger and retaliation. It’s a bullying ‘us-against-them’ mentality." "I’m just automatically suspicious," said yet another gay Democrat. "I do not trust them."

Notice how all these comments are from gay Democrats. My fiance who once went to a concert sponsored by HRC and is therefore now counted as a member got a somewhat desperate email today from Solmonese. No mention of ENDA in this Congressional session and no confidence about even passing the lame hate crimes law. But lots of bragging as usual. If a gay person goes for a pee, HRC would take credit.

By the way, notice how all the bloggers are identified in the piece. I am always described as a conservative gay writer in the gay press. Now see if you ever see a reference to a gay liberal blogger. They’re just gay bloggers. The bias is so deep in the gay media they have no idea it even exists.
