Joe Carter doesn’t understand Christopher Buckley’s endorsement of Obama:
…the only rational reason I have ever heard any Obamacon give for supporting the Democratic nominee is that they think he is being completely dishonest about how he says he’ll govern. For some reason they think he he will be much more centrist than he has been in the past.
I addressed this point in January. But I should add that no conservative who kept silent during the Bush years’ massive expansion of government spending debt, and power has standing in this debate. It is more important to be against big government for eight years of Bush than for three weeks before one election.
