Steele’s Olive Branch?

It’s not exactly a commitment and it’s not at all clear what the content of such an appeal might be – Christianists in the GOP essentially veto any sanction for gay or abortion rights. But Michael Steele at least seems to acknowledge that the Republicans need to seem less dogmatic on social issues.
