As a fellow Obamacon, did you notice the President’s bracket for the NCAA tournament over on ESPN.com? Of 63 possible games, the President selects a measly 3 underdogs, where underdog means "more than one rank below the expected seed". Of the 3 favorites insulted — er, picked against — 2 are from uber-politically safe California, and the other from arguably impossible Arizona. 2 of the "endorsed" underdogs are from crucial swing states Pennsylvania and Virginia, while the other is local entry Maryland.
A different kind of politician indeed!
