Today's news is that manufacturing orders are soaring, although the outlook remains gloomy. Donald Marron, former Acting Director of the Congressional Budget Office among other top DC economic positions, has a new blog. He says we aren't anywhere near Depression 2.0 territory and posts the chart above.
