Happy Independence Day

This year, I'll be celebrating my new freedom to travel by visiting my family and getting back in touch with old friends in Britain. The Dish is in great hands, as always, but we have three guest-bloggers for the next two weeks – or should I say fortnight? Bruce Bawer, early gay conservative and author of "While Europe Slept" on the dangers of Islamism, will be here the first week. Jon Rauch and Alex Massie will follow. I'm back in a fortnight, when I'll be blogging from London for a week. Then – finally – to Ptown, with any luck. I may post a few missives and photos from Blighty, so stay tuned. But mostly I hope to rest.
