I couldn't help but wonder if the cheery garden pic was taken from the Lime Tree Hotel, located a couple of minutes' walk from Victoria Station, in Belgravia? My boyfriend Brent and I stayed there early on this past May during our first trip to London. I'm almost certain the pic is of the Lime Tree – a nice little respite after a long day of touristy trappings – and would be surprised if it was not. We both read your blog regularly and have never even come close to recognizing any of the places posted in VFYW, so when we saw this garden pic it was a bit exciting to recognize it so quickly and easily.
It was indeed taken in the Belgravia district.
