A reader writes:
I recently was turned on to a Tumblr link written by a friend that (I think) is completely original, and never before seen. This, to me, seems crazy, and almost impossible. But if it is true, my buddy Ben, a freelance writer from NYC, (formerly from Toronto and Montreal) is the first out of 600M+ Facebook members to do this.
What he has done is promise to showcase each of his 1000 facebook friends in his tumblr feed, with a small history of each person, or anecdotes about where they met them, etc. In the (sometimes) incredibly vapid world of facebook, where people sometimes rack up facebook friends for no other reason than to have a large number of friends, this is very refreshing. So far he has catalogued about a dozen, and each one is quite charming.
