Going Native

A reader writes:

I wonder if anyone else has noticed that your style of writing has a definite Britishishness to it since you've been over the pond? I was reading a post this morning and the tone, choice of words and sentence structure are not American. They are definitely British. Apparently being home amongst your old friends and family has allowed your repressed Englishman to shine thru. I'll be interested to see if it disappears when you get back home. Hope you're enjoying your trip. Bring us something back won't you? A sane debt ceiling deal would be just the ticket.

You should hear me. It's even worse.
