Last September, Teru Kuwayama and Balazs Gardi embedded with a Marine Battalion in Helmand Province, Afghanistan for a project called Basetrack. Their work over five months has resulted in a multimedia experience of war, including Facebook postings, digital maps, and photographs taken through the Hipstamatic iPhone app, which allows users to choose the "lens" and "filmstock."
