A website that does pretty much this already exists: TaskRabbit. It's essentially an online marketplace where you post the small tasks you need done but lack the time or motivation to do yourself. Then, background-checked "TaskRabbits" make bids and the lowest bidder is automatically assigned to run your task. Payment is made online, streamlining the process. Usually, the tasks are more errand-running than home-maintenance, as Adams proposes, but there's a geolocation component to their model, so the idea of "Job Bunching" is sort of built-in – i.e. "rabbits" are more likely to pick up a task if it is conveniently located from their current location or that of another task to which they're already assigned.

Another reader points to a similar site called Zaarly – "(terrible name)".
