Looking for portentous signs of trouble, some have pointed to a now-deleted post on [alleged shooter TJ] Lane’s Facebook page which references a "man with a frown [who] longed for only one thing the world to bow at his feet" and includes the verse "die, all of you." The poem did not raise any red flags among his peers, who commended Lane on his writing abilities.
