The portion quoted from Wallace-Wells' takedown of Rachel Maddow – that it’s all about her viewpoint – is bullshit. Maddow routinely begs conservatives, who either have said something worth talking about or have something to say worth hearing, to be a guest on her show. GOP politicians routinely refuse. Yet Scott Brown uses her to raise money. The GOP parties’ radio hosts – Laura Ingraham, Limbaugh, Levin, Savage – they all use here as a punching bag.
BUT THEY WON’T GO ON HER SHOW. So what exactly is she supposed to do? Put Alex Castellanos on to repeat Limbaugh’s talking points? I get plenty of hackery on "Meet the Press" with David Gregory’s generally pathetic he-said, she-said approach to politics. Thanks but no thanks.
