Dan Deacon and Wham City compatriot/filmmaker/comedian Ben O’Brien filmed a 13 second scene, featuring the two of them. They then showed that scene to a new team of two people who had the mission of recreating it. That new scene was filmed and shown to yet a new team, which also recreated it, but based on the second team’s recreation, not the original. And then it goes on like this, a super-elaborate game of telephone slyly referencing the evolution and de-evolution of musical loops used in Deacon’s music.
