We've posted before on NYC artist Kumi Yamashita's stunning thread and nail faces, but her shadow work is equally impressive. In her own words:
I sculpt shadow with light and sometimes light with shadow, but both function in essentially the same manner. I take objects, carve and place them in relation to a single light source.
