And I’d say a huge amount of what’s going on is simply the fact that John Kerry is a dreadful, brain-locked, spineless candidate. People look at him and listen to him and they do not see a president. That doesn’t mean George W. Bush deserves re-election. It just means the alternative may be too awful to contemplate.
