Smithsonian Announces Discovery Of A New Species Of Mammal

In this handout photo provided by Smithsonian, an olinguito, a new species of carnivore that has been newly discovered in the Andes Mountains, is seen in an undated photo. The olinguito (Bassaricyon neblina) had been mistakenly identified for more than 100 years and is also the first carnivore species to be discovered in the American continents in 35 years.
