Copyranter registers a rare "like":
Being a man of a certain age (fucking old), one of my favorite childhood memories is sending my Hot Wheels hot rods down that orange track ramp into the loopty loop and watching them crash. That wonderful memory came crashing back when I found the above installation, via Bogota, Colombia. Cool.

The Daily What finds a clever, if a tad tedious, addition to the category:
The most elaborate automated performance of Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” in the middle of a forest to promote a cell phone you will see today, guaranteed.

Though a somber subject:
To mark World Water Day, on March 22nd Solidarités International and its agency BDDP Unlimited will roll out a campaign to build awareness of the scourge of undrinkable water. Today, it is estimated that 3.6 million people, including 1.5 million children under the age of 5, die every year of diseases borne by undrinkable water, making it the world’s leading cause of death.

And creepy all the same:
A few readers submitted the Youtube. One writes:
I thought you might like this, given your fandom for zombies. Yes, it's a trailer (with no actual gameplay) for a gory video game about survival on a resort island during a zombie outbreak. But for all that, it's classier than one might expect and makes a nice short film in its own right.
Oh yeah, and fair warning: CG blood everywhere.
One reader actually recommended it as a Mental Health Break. Oy.

Urban Dictionary defines slizzered. The Daily What explains the rest:
So last night, someone at helm of the American Red Cross’s Twitter feed accidentally (drunkenly? Red Cross says no) tweeted this. It’s since been deleted, natch, but the best part? It resulted in a veritable flood of blood donations. Dogfish Head Brewery made a meme out of the hashtag #gettngslizzerd, asking people to donate. And donate they did: “After I drop off a pint of blood to the @RedCross, I’m replacing it with a pint of @dogfishbeer #gettngslizzerd,” tweeted @ereed812.
God bless America.
