Bristol's cant-filled interview with Christianity Today is hard not to read. Money quote making the rounds:

Yeah, I think that people treat [Sarah] poorly, they treat her with no respect, and I think it's because they're envious of her. She's got a good family, she's got a good husband, she's got awesome support, she's got God on her side, and I think people are envious of that.

Sarah Bufkin narrates a new congressional campaign ad by Nevada state Senator Mark Amodei:

Running in the background are shots of Obama bowing to Chinese president Hu Jintao and a doctored image of the Chinese army marching with automatic rifles in front of the U.S. Capitol building as it flies the red Chinese flag. At its close, the ad cuts to an image of Amodei as he promises to “never vote to raise Obama’s debt limit and risk our independence.”

How could I have missed this column (not from the Onion) in a recent Washington Times:

Back into our lives rode Sarah of Alaska, Maid of the Bering Sea, devoured, ogled and debated by the masses. She is our modern Joan of Arc, dressed in black leather chaps, hunting camo or fishing boat slicker, unafraid to mount her steed, whether a Harley or a snow machine. She is a woman, bloody hands, capable of any man's task — even that Holy Grail of politics with which no woman has ever been entrusted.

Unlike sister St. Joan, Sarah does not pass herself as a man. She can do any man's work, without ceding an ounce of her gas station pin-up babe good looks. But in most else, she shares with sister St. Joan. Driven by visions from God and destined for sainthood by way of a burning at the stake, Sarah is misunderstood here in her own lifetime.

A reader writes:

I could only get through half of the propaganda piece of the Palin magical history tour, but what's really disturbing is she has the balls to use clips from the "lamestream" media.  She treats the media like crap and then uses their work.  What a hypocrite.

Another notes:

During the opening and closing sequences of the video, regarding the superimposition of the US map, one state is conspicuously absent.  An oversight, I'm sure.
